Design Lives Here

Bijl Architecture’s Doorzien House appears in the brand new book Design Lives Here written by Sydney based editor, writer and curator Penny Craswell. Publishers Thames and Hudson describe the book as ‘an ultimate sourcebook of Australian design, including the best of contemporary interiors, furniture, lighting and bespoke objects.’

The interior design elements featured from the Doorzien House are the architectural lighting fixtures, all of which were designed and fabricated locally by Melbourne-based company Darkon. Recently reviewed by Karen McCartney here, we are proud to join the esteemed company of the many other fine Australian architects and interior designers included in this unique publication.
